Celebrate Jimmy Buffett Day!

The third annual Jimmy Buffett Day and Margaritaville Day of Service falls on Friday, September 4, during Labor Day weekend.

Margaritaville properties are marking it with events, room packages, a limited-edition retail collection, and drink specials that come with a commemorative Jimmy Buffett Day cup. The cups are available at participating restaurants from September 4 through 11. The "Keep the Party Going" room packages cover stay dates from August 3 through September 27 and include a donation to a local charity. It all benefits Singing for Change, the foundation Jimmy started in 1995, along with other charitable organizations.

Radio Margaritaville is broadcasting live from the Margaritaville Café in Key West that Friday, 5 to 8 PM ET, with JD Spradlin hosting. You can listen on SiriusXM Channel 24 or at RadioMargaritaville.com.

If you can get to a Margaritaville location that weekend, go. If you can't, find a way to do some good where you are. That was always the point.
